The Yarn Benders are expanding Grace's ministry to include adult knitted and crocheted hats. We're feeling called to help the less fortunate and homeless in Grand Rapids keep warm with these gifts. The hats will be given to the homeless in the Heartside area of downtown Grand Rapids and/or the Grand Rapids Dream Center in November of this year. Our goal is 100 hats. We're seeking your help in one of two ways: 1) Use your God given talent to knit or crochet a few hats; or, 2) Make a financial donation to the Yarn Benders ministry.

Because there are so many things to consider regarding the yarn (yarn weight, dye lots, amount of yarn needed per hat), we would prefer to purchase the yarn ourselves. We're working on these hats now and will continue to work on them throughout the year. Please prayerfully consider how you can help. If you have questions, please ask Karen Gorman or Kathy Helak.
